We're Krystal and Gabe

Hen House Cottage Bakery started with a pretty simple idea: make something good, share it with people, and build a little more joy into everyday life.

We've been together since high school, married for 26 years, raised two kids, and built a life together in central Minnesota. These days, as our kids have grown and life has entered a new chapter, we found ourselves looking for something new to build together.

For Krystal, baking has always been one of those things that feels like home. So rather than trying to turn it into something enormous, we decided to start small — right in our own kitchen.

And thus, Hen House Cottage Bakery.
